Q:
How long can I stay at False Creek? A: Pleasurecraft berthage is available while space permits. The summer season is from July 1st to August 31st. All pleasure craft should be prepared to leave harbour by the date specified on the berthage agreement. Should any Commercial Fishing Vessels return early, 24 hours notice will be given to vacate a berth. Pleasure craft are required to leave on a "last in-first out" basis. Q: What is the policy on paying berthage? A: The customer must pay in advance of the services provided to receive the advance rates. Vessels are charged for the number of days that they are in harbour. If your vessel is counted on the daily boatcheck, you are considered in harbour for that day. Q: Can I reserve berthage for the summer? A: Finger float slips are assigned as space becomes available. Vessels must pay in advance for the summer season to obtain a slip. |
