Q: What is the False Creek Harbour Authority?

A: The False Creek Harbour Authority(FCHA) is a not-for-profit corporation responsible for managing the daily operation of False Creek Harbour.

Q: Who is in charge of the False Creek Harbour ?

A: An elected board of eight directors set policy which is implemented by the harbour manager.

Q: How are the directors of the FCHA elected?

A: The board of directors of the FCHA are elected by the homeport vessel owners and operators at the Annual General Meeting.

Q: What changes will happen under the Harbour Authority?

A: For the present there will be few changes in how the Harbour is run. The directors and Harbour staff are reviewing harbour operations, policy and procedures.
