enjoys an enviable reputation as having one of the lowest crime rates among marinas in the
area. A key factor in this reputation are the security measures in place here at the
Harbour. Our commissionaires provide security from 4:00
PM to 8:00 AM and on weekends and holidays. They are equipped with radios and are
available to assist you. Several patrols are made by the commissionaires during
their shifts. Patrols are done at varying times and intervals during each shift. It is difficult for our security personnel to know
every individual at this facility. If you are stopped and questioned by our staff please
be patient, they are just doing their job. Another contributor to the excellent security here at
False Creek has been the help the staff receives from our members. Reports from harbour
users have assisted greatly in the past in dealing with theft, fire and vandalism. |
